Participation in decision-making is one of the main triggers for improving any work that requires interaction among its stakeholders. Accordingly, the Ministry of Commerce and investment has realized the importance of the Public Participation in decision-making to develop all of its works and enhance its services. The Ministry has then availed a variety of e-Participation tools for all the community including specialized and non-specialized persons, Saudis and non-Saudis to submit their views, ideas and suggestions that are deeply discussed and deliberated by the Ministry. The best of such ideas are transferred to initiatives and successful projects which undoubtedly bring about prosperous results not only for the Ministry itself, but also for all the community as a whole.
In this regard, it is obvious that the Ministry has sought to utilize the most advanced technologies in communications so as to reinforce interaction with its beneficiaries and stakeholders. Through such communications tools, the Public can provide the Ministry with their views and suggestions at any time and from anywhere.
Within its plans, the Ministry has been working in accordance with strategic-oriented corporate methodologies that are marked by sustainability and executed through deliberated action plans. In addition, the objectives behind the Ministry e-Participation channels are not only focused on collecting as much opinions and views as they can, but they are much more aimed at knowledge sharing and experience exchange, provided that the most appropriate views are to be deeply deliberated and transferred to actions and positive works.
