The
Deputy Ministry for Consumer Protection is responsible for protecting
consumers against fraud, deception, imitation, misleading advertisement,
unfair practices, and having control over goods and services to ensure
safety, raise consumers' awareness, and enhance the national economy by
improving the quality of goods.
The Deputy Ministry
for Consumer Protection is also concerned with the implementation of
regulations relevant to consumers, besides receiving consumers'
complaints, make necessary study and analysis, and cooperate with
relevant authorities to address such complaints and develop the
necessary solutions.
