The Exhibition pays back SR (450) thousand riyals after manipulating the year of manufacturing

MCI detected  Motors Showroom in Jeddah involved in commercial fraud by selling a car  with SR 450 thousand riyals after forging the  manufacture year by putting a new date in the  official sale papers, when the woman discovered that,  she immediately  informed the Ministry that soon verified the case and contributed to refund all the rights of the woman , and the case was brought to the Bureau of Investigation and General Prosecution .
The details of the case go back  to a female  Saudi citizen who complained  to the Ministry against a car showroom that deliberately had sold a German-made car Model 2011 pretending that it is of the 2012 Model, all that had been written in the official sale papers, the said showroom did not deliver the car license only after two weeks of the purchase date, and after she had actually used the car, after that the woman discovered that the manufacture year written on the car license is different of what they had agreed upon .
In the meantime, she tried to cancel the sale and asked refund of her money but in vain. So she informed the Ministry to get back her rights.
MCI Control Teams had carried out the necessary investigation by calling up those responsible in the exhibition, the said exhibition tried to procrastinate and they did not take any steps to settle the case amicably, despite they confessed changing the model of the car.
MCI stresses that it will not tolerate with those involved in fraud and manipulation and will impose statutory penalties on violators and those involved in fraud practices that could harm the consumers.
The Ministry calls on all consumers to report their complaints and observations to the Report Center in the Ministry on the phone No.  800 124 1616.
