MC, The Electronic Voting at Najran Chamber of Commerce Hit the percentage of 322%

​​​The e-election of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Najran, in its tenth session, has witnessed an unprecedented leap and high rate of voting and participation due to the activation of the electronic voting system. The current election hit the percentage of 322% with 3.855 male and female voters, while the number in the previous session was 913.

According to the final results, the current session has witnessed the participation of 3,855 male and female voters, of whom 3,717 were from the merchant category and 2,579 from the industrialist one, while the total number of voters for the previous session reached 913 participants, and the total number of votes for the merchant and industrialist category was 6,296.

For the merchant category, Muhaimid bin Saleh Al Salem, Saeed Hadran Al Yami, Hadi bin Banyan Al Amer, Muhammad Hussain Al Qarrad have been elected, also Saleh bin Salem Al Haider, Mane’a bin Mahdi Al Mansour, Ahmed bin Mabkhoot Al Hamami, Ali bin Nasser Al Qadi were elected for the industrialist category. .

This increase in Najran Chamber of Commerce election comes as a result of the growth of the commercial registrations in various commercial and investment activities, in addition to enabling the individual voter to vote for four candidates from each category, while in the past the voting was limited to one candidate for each category.

The Ministry of Commerce’s decision for online voting in the Chamber's Board of Directors elections has contributed and enabled male and female voters to vote through a unified electronic link without the need to attend the election headquarters. This is clearly reflected in the high rate of participation.

MC has facilitated the procedures for male and female voters by developing the method of voting from manual to electronic, so that the voters don’t need to attend the election headquarters and they can use a unified link for all Chambers of Commerce (​). This has enabled all male and female voters to vote and to save their time and effort.
